Leuchtenbhurg China Very pretty antique child’s cup with cute graphics of a boy and girl with two animals, a sheep and goose. Marked on underside “Leuchtenburg Germany” with a graphic of a castle turret. From the style and type, we believe this to be an antique piece minimally a vintage child’s cup , likely dating to the early ‘s. This was found out of a home. The multi-color graphics encircle about half the cup with the remainder left blank. The order on the cup shows the white sheep first, followed by the boy dressed in what may be a shepherd’s type outfit as he is carrying a curved shepherd’s staff and wearing a broad-rimmed hat, followed by a white goose, and ending with a girl in a bonnet and skirt carrying what looks like a plate or dish of bread or simple cake. The cup has a white base coloring with pink highlighting near the rim and a bit of pink on the handle. Porcelain child’s cup was made with a slight fluting to the upper edge it is not a smooth round circular top although the form is definitely circular and raised in-mold design on the outside near the top edge in a repetitive arch form with raised dots.

During the ‘s, the factory produced die pressed ceramic insulators and the pottery was made to help repair England from the damage left after World War II. By , there was no longer a need for such large quantities of industrial ceramics so the company began searching for another product to make. At this time, the first Irish Wade Pottery pieces were produced as Wade Ulster entered into the ornamental pottery field.
The company gave the pottery its own backstamp to differentiate it from Wade England, whose mark was an owl on the back of a hand. The Irish Wade started to become more distinctive and very different from the English Wade. Their tankards and steins were exceptionally popular with the beautiful speckled blue, green and gray glazes. The most famous figurines were made by Wade Ulster including pixies, leprechauns and lucky fairy folk.
For thirty years Irish Wade made many different figurines like baby pixies and large leprechauns. The lucky fairy folk series continued with a set of three pixie figurines each sitting on either a pig, a rabbit or an acorn. The leprechaun series continued with one as a cobbler, one with a pot of gold and one as a tailor. Wade Ulster also produced a shamrock pottery series. This was a small series including an Irish comical pig or a pink comical elephant.

Prince celebrates Belleek’s years Published: The Prince was visiting Belleek Pottery to mark years of production at the world famous site. Teacher Stephanie Noble said the children enjoyed seeing the Prince: The Garda performed security duties at one end of the bridge over the River Erne, which marks the invisible border with the Republic, while the PSNI attended the other end.

I so enjoyed this afternoon, the time went flying by. Every employee had a specialty craft they performed. Some made the molds, poured the molds, making tiny flowers, making clay ropes to form baskets, all the way through to the finished product. I had worked as a kid over 40 years ago in Dundee, Illinois at the Haeger Pottery factory. I found the processes here at Belleek much older and time worn.
What worked in the late ‘s is still used today. One employee had worked there over 40 years and told me he would never want to work anyplace else. The guide told us the little pots next to everyone working the clay was olive oil, to keep their hands soft and the clay from sticking. I was able to smash a piece of pottery that was not acceptable by inspection.
After the tour we had time to meander through the mini museum and the gift shop. I spent nearly all of my mad money here. In a glass case of which only 5 were made, is a breathtaking vase, one of 5 replicas remade from the original International Centerpiece , as I understand it to celebrate Belleeks years. The price tag touts 75, pounds.
I have taken many, many pictures of the tour and gift shop, but will have to limit my pictures on Tripadvisor.

One of the biggest concepts I learned from Jason is that desire and attraction make a woman want you, but sexual tension makes a woman want you NOW. What I find to be most impressive, though, is his ability to effectively communicate to an audience in an entertaining manner, and the skill he possesses to explain, in simple terms, some of the underlying principles contained in the course. At its simplest, the Desire System teaches guys how to use emotion to attract high-quality women. The course itself is divided into ten separate video modules.
The dude always has hot chicks wanting to get in his pants. In saying that, David does spend time breaking it all down and explaining the principles behind the methods he teaches in the course.
